Tim Roberts | Thrive Tribe

Tim Roberts, Managing Director

“I founded Thrive Tribe in 2008 and am proud to have led the organisation through its growth from a single smoking cessation service to the award-winning provider of healthy lifestyle services that it is today. I’ve also worked in strategic and management positions for the Department of Health, NHS and European Commission. My main interests are travel, music and sport…and since January 2016 being a dad to my first son, Jesse!”

Emma Staplehurst | Thrive Tribe

Emma Adkins, Corporate Development Manager

“I manage all HR and administration elements of contract mobilisation, as well as supporting a large number of the logistical tasks involved with setting up a new service. I have over 15 years’ experience of working in administrative and data management roles, both within the market research industry and the NHS. I love taking my two children on little adventures, reading, baking and keeping fit by playing squash.”

Poonam Ahuja | Thrive Tribe

Poonam Ahuja, Business Manager

“My role is focused around managing and acting as the main point of contact for our core sub-contractors, including HR and IT services. I help to shape the strategies in these areas ensuring we have the most effective combination of internal and outsourced processes throughout the organisation. I’ve been with Thrive Tribe since the very beginning and have  a passion for business management. I also love cooking, travel and yoga.”

“I coordinate our new and exciting healthy schools project called Thrive Tribe Academy, which involves designing, marketing and delivering healthy lifestyle provision to schools and young people. I’ve previously worked in two different delivery roles for Thrive Tribe and have an MSc in Sport & Exercise Psychology. My colleagues would describe me as a Tom Daley look-a-like with a love for Minions! I have a huge passion for travel and sport, including football, table tennis, badminton and more!”

Jackie Williams | Thrive Tribe

Jackie Williams, Head of Service for Live Well Luton

“I currently lead our integrated healthy lifestyle service in Luton. My background is in nursing and I’ve worked in a variety of roles both in provider and commissioner organisations within healthcare. I love skiing and being outdoors, and can’t wait to take my children to some of the places I’ve been lucky enough to visit as they get older.”

Andy Emerson, Head of Service for Healthy Hearts and Kick It 

“I currently lead both our stop smoking and cardiovascular disease prevention services in London. I started my contract management experience working for an employability provider and led their health strategy. I coach youth football and enjoy attending music festivals.”

Rochelle Gayle | Thrive Tribe

Rochelle Gayle, Marketing Coordinator

“My role is to get the word out about all of Thrive Tribe’s activities and turn great ideas in actionable marketing campaigns! Before Thrive Tribe I worked for communication agencies which gave me the skills I need to write press releases, marketing strategies and do social media for businesses. If I’m not working then you can find me in a Vinyasa yoga session somewhere around London.”

Terry Dowding, MANvFAT Project Manager

“I coordinate our very popular MANvFAT nationwide football leagues. I am passionate about improving family lives and have previously delivered adult and child weight management programmes. I enjoy cycling and often compete in triathalons.”

Heather Osborn | Thrive Tribe

Heather Osborn, RD, Lead Dietitian for Children and Young People

“I develop new, exciting programmes and training initiatives for teachers, parents and young people, using my previous experience from designing and writing our child weight management programme. I am a registered dietitian and have experience working within the NHS and public health sector. I am a proud mum of three boys and a lively cockapoo called Boris.  I’ve completed two marathons and every year I look forward to packing up the tent and adventuring around Europe with my family.”

Karen Davies | Thrive Tribe

Karen Davies, RD, Lead Dietitian for Adults

“I am predominantly involved with the training, quality assurance and information governance aspects of new and existing contracts. With 20 years’ clinical experience in the NHS, specialising in Renal Dietetics and weight management, I am the central point of contact for clinical and nutritional expertise. I also recently undertook an MSc  in Sports Nutrition. My big passions in life are coaching children to swim and gardening!”

Dan Ford | Thrive Tribe

Dan Ford, Business Development Manager

“I lead our MANvFAT programme and develop new, exciting opportunities for the organisation. I have previously managed smoking cessation, weight management and physical activity teams, as well as the inspirational Get Healthy Get Into Sport project in Suffolk. I am a loyal Morecambe FC fan but my all-time passion is, and always will be, Star Wars.”

Richard Crick | Thrive Tribe

Richard Crick, Head of Business Development

“I currently head up the Business Development team which seeks out new and exciting opportunities for Thrive Tribe. I’ve worked on many exciting projects, from overseeing all adult service provision to designing and implementing our Live Well Luton and Healthy Hearts services.  I’ve also worked for the NHS, leisure and education sectors including a community position at Preston North End FC. I love football, badminton, travel and the occasional fishing session!”

Oliver Langford | Thrive Tribe

Oliver Langford, Head of Service Development

“I lead the service development team which ensures quality and governance. Previously, I implemented the smoking legislation for Huntingdonshire Council and delivered Public Health projects for NHS Suffolk. My passion is running. I just love the freedom and getting to explore new corners of my beautiful hometown of Cambridge.”
