20 Dec Be Big-Hearted: Thrive Tribe’s annual all-staff conference
Thrive Tribe’s annual all-staff conference, The 2018 Away Day, shedded light on some of the health challenges our teams work to support every day.
Throughout the day, inspirational speakers, including Josh Quingley, Pancreatic Cancer UK and One Year No Beer shared moving experiences, hard-hitting facts and industry-leading tactics. The subjects spanned from mental health to supporting lesser-known diseases as a company, and a fresh outlook on behaviour change.
Emma, Employee Experience Manager, says, “ With the health, wellbeing and happiness of our staff being a priority here at Thrive Tribe, we see our annual all staff away day as the perfect opportunity to demonstrate this. It is fantastic to have all the staff from across our services in the same room at the same time and it always proves to be a great day for team-building, recognising achievements and keeping everyone in the loop on the latest news and developments.
“Whilst we ensure that all of our values are embedded into everything we do, we really focussed on ‘Be Big-Hearted’ at the away day this year, with an emphasis on talking about mental health issues, thanks to the inspiring Josh Quigley for coming in to talk about his experiences, and on fundraising for our charity partner, Pancreatic Cancer UK, Huge admiration to Pam Bothwell, one of our specialist stop smoking advisors, who offered to have her head shaved on stage all in the name of charity!”
We’ve created ‘Keep on Running’ as a way of celebrating the impact our employees are making to the wellbeing of themsleves, and their community. You can watch ‘Keep on Running’ here.
